CareQuest Institute for Oral Health: The Community Oral Health Transformation Initiative

CM_Bayham_video

In 2020, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic required dental operations to shut down almost completely. This is a story of a response to that shutdown, which is still transforming oral health care delivery today. The Community Oral Health Transformation (COrHT) Initiative was developed out of a partnership between CareQuest Institute for Oral Health, Community Care Cooperative, and the Mass League to support federally qualified health centers in Massachusetts navigating dental practice in the COVID-19 environment. In this video you will hear from Dr. Shireen Khan, Dental Director at The Dimock Center, about the team’s experience implementing and expanding teledentistry, minimally invasive care, and integrated models of care.
